Grip
We use a range of Manfrotto &
Libec professional Tripods that are used throughout the
broadcast industry. They have superior fluid heads for smooth
panning shots. We also use professional body braces such
as those used by CNN in America, to capture shots where
a tripod will get in the way. This means that we don’t get
any camera shake that’s seen in many amateur videos.

We have a range of additional grip
in the form of portable Jib's from B.Hague. These are great at
live concerts filmed at nightclubs since they allow a great frontal
shot that is dynamic in nature. At one instance they can take
a shot from a high advantage and then at the next instace they
can go low and film the singer's face as she/he reaches down into
the crowd.

We can also film tracking shots of
the band at the front of the venue with the use of tracking dollies,
shown to the left. For Music Videos we also have a variety of
clamps and car clamps to film driving sequences.
The use of a variety of grip such as those
shown ensure that the video footage does not look too static and
stiff but lively and interactive. The use of grip greatly depends
upon the Venue that we will be filming at, and
the type of music filmed.
