Live Performance
Video Capture
AJS
and Associates capture live music performances on video and professionally
edit the footage to produce promotional material for the musicians.
We arrive at the venue on the specified date ready for the sound
check. We use and provide our own multi-track recording facilities
to record the performers live at the Gig or Venue. We work with
the sound engineer to obtain all of the seperate feeds or groups
and feed them into our multitrack recorded where everything is
recorded at a sampling rate of 192khz with a resolution of 32bits.
We do have our own microphones should we need them to mike up
any additional instruments and perform a sound check. Then when
you start playing, we start filming. We typically record a liver
performance with 3 cameras to ensure we can capture everybody
and provide interaction and interest. With multi-camera shots
and Dolby Digital recording we aim to get the best results.
Back at our editing studio we utilise broadcast
quality Non-Linear Editing suites such as the Matrox RTX100, coupled
with adobe premiere that will not only render the video at broadcast
quality but add special effects that are only available to the
Professionals. Whether you are playing in a club or a venue, or
even a practice room then give us a call and we will film &
record the entire session. We can produce a variety of formats
such that you can send a DVD to various record companies as samples
or simply display the footage in a vareity of formats on the web.
We
also offer a Mobile Recording Service which is extremely useful
for practice sessions or for compiling a demo. Most bands practice
once or twice a week, often at rehearsal studios, where they can
hire the amps and PA and blast away to their hearts content. But
often that piece of raw genius that might be played is forgotten
or can’t be differentiated from the other instruments. This
is where we come in. We offer a digital multi-track solution.
We will turn up to your practice session and record the sound,
layering each instrument onto it’s own track. Then we can
provide you with each of the instrument tracks onto a CD for you
to mix.
