Grand Wedding is simply that, impressive. This style is suitable
for the very large weddings that we are asked to film. The
way in which we film the couple’s day greatly depends upon
the wedding and the couple. Grand weddings, due to extravagant
nature of the day are often funded by the parents of the couple
who wish to get married, and are often a synergy of the couples
and their parent’s wishes.
Most of the grand weddings have a touch
of the traditional interlaced with modern choices made by the
bride and groom. Often filmed at a large Church or Cathedral the
venues are often majestic and grand in appearance. Because of
the shear size of the venues and the number of guest’s Grand
weddings require more cameras, (often 3) in order to capture the
splendour. Traditionally they are quite comprehensive and encompass
the whole day with many forms of fantastic entertainment from
string quartets for the drinks reception to famous magicians,
aerial displays and bands for the evening. The main emphasis of
having a grand wedding is to host a fantastic celebration that
will be remembered for years to come. Typically this takes a great
deal of planning and preparation and this is something we excel
at. Naturally you don’t want anything missed and that’s
the main reason to have more cameras. With any extensive function
with large numbers of people there are often lots to miss, and
that’s where we come in. We have a large range of cameras
from large impressive studio cameras that emphasise the splendour,
to small cameras that do not get noticed (perfect for filming
people unobtrusively).
